Kris Barnes

Kristoffer Barnes is a decorated combat veteran who was bornin Montana and spent most of his childhood in Alaska.  Kris worked a variety of jobs prior to joining the U.S. Army in 2006, including building houses and snowmobile fabrication.  Kris served with the 4^thInfantry Division during his time in the Army. Kris completed two consecutive deployments to Iraq with the Silver Lions. Kris also served as the personal security detail specialist for his commander and First Sergeant. After being medically retired from the Army, Kris pivoted to an executive protection specialist role with Executive Security International. Upon the birth of his daughter, Kris pivoted again to managing an investment portfolio and leaned into his prior experience of building houses by investing in single-family homes. Kris has developed a passion for real estate and is active in both the commercial and residential sides of the business.

Kris is happily married to his wife of 14 years and has three young children that are the driving force in his life. Kris’s hobbies include spending time with his family, day trading, working out and enjoying all Tennessee has to offer. The resilience and drive Kris developed during his time in the military are reflected in his drive to be successful in identifying the perfect property for each client.  Kris put his heart and soul into protecting and serving his country and continues to do so for all.
